Béatrice and Pierre Ardoin are doing good things at this Blaye property (which I believe sells large amounts to the UK through a Calais cash-and-carry). The blend is Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, with a touch of Malbec. Pretty juicy, like the cassis tang, and remains full and firm all the way to the finish line.
